Founder, Damaris Evans How/Where did it all Begin?
Damaris Evans was 25 when she started the business from her kitchen table with a £5,000 loan from the Prince’s Trust. Aiming straight for Europe’s top lingerie departments Damaris took her creations to Selfridges in London and Le Bonne Marche in Paris where despite a retail price ranging from £125 - £3,000 per piece, both stores snapped them-up.
Conquering the fashion press was the next challenge, but the concept was a hit – and pieces soon featured in key consumer glossies and supplements like ES Magazine and Vogue. Elle were quick to award Damaris the title of 'Lingerie Queen'.
Damaris has achieved a cult following and her sexy lingerie is sought after internationally. Damaris' exciting lingerie designs have influenced many top-league designers through her 'daring to bare', and teasing innovativeness.
