Enamore
Jenny Ambrose 'A labour of love' - 'The range has an overall playful feel to it and is certainly set to have an impact on how we view hemp as a textile.'
Enamore creates playful, sexy lingerie, accessories and gifts from vintage and ecologically sound fabrics. The brand was born out of our love for vintage clothing, sewing patterns, home decor, books and fabrics combined to create an exciting range of lingerie; a new twist on the modern Pin Up. We support local manufacturing and all current ranges are designed and produced in Bath and Wales.
Enamore began in the seaside city of Brighton during 2004 founded by Jenny Ambrose. The brand was born out of the designer's love for vintage sewing patterns and charismatic floral prints. Jenny's vision was to create beautiful, playful and quirky garments from organic fabrics and vintage materials, after discovering the damaging effects
of fashion industry to our environment. The designer first became
attracted to sewing as a young girl often choosing fabrics and trims from which her mother would create her dresses. Jenny grew up Canada eating vegetables straight from the garden and recycling, which had a lot to do with shaping her future career in ethical fashion. The label began with a small range of clothing made from hemp fused with a colourful array of hand-sourced prints from the Fifties and Sixties.
The collection has now evolved beyond expectation offering a diverse collection of dresses, separates and an exciting range of organic lingerie with a new twist on the modern Pin Up.
