Laura Brooks

Laura Brooks, a London based designer, studied at the Winchester school of art. After gaining experience in the lingerie industry, designing for Gossard and Berlei, she made the decision to venture out on her own. Whilst recognising the presence of other lingerie brands, she felt there was a place for luxury, using superior fabrics, laces and trims. With a strong belief not to compromise on quality, ‘a Laura Brooks garment’ promises to use nothing but the most exquisite French leavers lace, pure silk georgette, the finest velvet and pure silk ribbons. Laura believes that her customers deserve the best when purchasing her lingerie. Laura’s designs typify the ‘English rose; fluted frilly knickers and delicate silk camisoles in the palest ballerina pink. The style is elegant, co-ordinated and refined, not boudoir or exaggerated and discreetly sexy. Her lingerie is primarily for the delight of the wearer; this is reflected in her signature pretty linings. Each pair of knickers is finished with the tiniest ribbon bow hidden inside, the trademark of ‘Laura Brooks’. Laura admits it is an unlikely place to push such a feature, ‘but it’s only right that women should be reminded how beautiful their lingerie is inside and out!’
